The Flow
My inspiration for this collection was movement. Specifically how some things are constantly moving and change into a new form. Sometimes it has small differences that are noticed from a different perspective.

This is my concept board. Just as I mentioned in my inspiration, the images I chose were things that were constantly changing. That is one of the reasons why I chose the images of the kaleidoscope and the flower, since these things are always changing.

In my flow mood board, I was interested in the parties or events that often call for coat and tie. I also knew that I wanted my outfit to be brightly colored, rather than a shade or color which would allow the wearer to blend in. Basically I wanted my outfits to be the odd one out, so that they can stand out.

This has both my color palette and my chosen fabric. I chose Jacquard fabric since this seemed to me to be the perfect fabric to reflect ever moving change.

These are the flats of my collection. I combined different fabrics because I knew they would go well together. In contrast, the last flat has a kaleidoscope, since I thought it would look great as a fabric. I colored my flats using my chosen fabrics because I wanted viewers to have a clear idea of how the clothes are supposed to look before viewing the illustrations.

This skirt has 2 layers because of the flower in my concept board. I was inspired by the petals and wanted this outfit to emulate that.
