Starry Night

I was inspired by Vincent van Gogh's Starry Night, more specifically I was inspired by its swirls. I could not get enough of how the sky looked as if it were another ocean, and that influenced my collection.

The theme board for my collection. As I mentioned before my main interest was the swirls, which I wanted to be more prominent in my designs. I was also inspired by the stars in the painting that shone brightly yet distantly, which reminded me of lanterns, so I added it to the board.
